Treatment

First consultations last 60 minutes, ongoing consultations last 40 minutes. In the initial consultation I find out more about you and your work lifestyle allowing me to diagnose and treat you to my best ability. All babies and children under 16 years are 40 minutes (including the initial consultation).

Prices:

First consultation and treatment (up to 60 minutes) - £100

Ongoing osteopathy session (up to 40 minutes) - £80

Babies and Children under 16 years (up to 40 minutes) - £80

What to expect during treatment?

First a detailed case history is taken to establish possible diagnoses. Following this the patient will do a movement assessment and orthopaedic testing. Once a diagnosis is then formed the treatment starts and could involve:

• soft tissue massage to loosen off tight muscles

• joint articulation to reduce joint stiffness

• joint manipulation to increase joint range of motion

• acupuncture (western medical)

• cranial techniques to gently release pressures within the joints of the skull

• exercises to strengthen and stabilise joints

• stretches to improve joint mobility

• advice for posture and work station ergonomics
